Game server logs
When you connect to our DayZ servers, certain activity is logged and stored to prevent cheating and in-game theft. These logs are rotated regularly and are not retained longer than 7 days. This logging includes your BattlEye ID, your Steam ID, user name, and IP address you connect from. Additionally, actions in the game, such as trading, car key activity, damage you take from NPCs or other players, and character deaths are logged. Damage and deaths are logged both in text files and in our Discord server. Logging in our Discord server is limited to your in-game name, Steam ID, and character location in-game in channels limited to Grasping Embers staff. This information is never shared with anyone outside of Grasping Embers’ staff and Discord. Discord’s privacy policy does apply.
